Patrick Frey was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1973. After his studies he founded, together with Markus Boge,
the design-studio Frey + Boge - Industrial Design in 2004. In 2007 they separated.
After that the Studio Patrick Frey Industrial Design was established in 2007. The studio is working for renowned firms
such as Nils Holger Moormann, Bree, Authentics, Elmar Flötotto. In the first year of his work as an independent designer
Patrick Frey already won the highly endowed prize for junior designers, the Lucky Strike Junior Design Award.
His works won international awards: the IF-Product Design Award, the Good Design Award Chicago,
the Design Prize Baden-Württemberg.
Patrick Frey wurde 1973 in Seoul/Südkorea geboren. Nach dem Studium gründete er 2004 zusammen mit Markus Boge
das Büro Frey + Boge Industrial Design. 2007 trennten sich ihre Wege. Seit 2007 existiert das Büro Patrick Frey Industrial Design,
das für renommierte Firmen wie Nils Holger Moormann, Bree, Authentics und Elmar Flötotto arbeitet.
Schon im ersten Jahr der Selbstständigkeit erhielt Patrick Frey den höchstdotierten Preis für Nachwuchsdesigner,
den Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award. Seine Arbeiten erhielten internationale Preise, wie den IF Product Design Award,
Good Design Award Chicago Athenaeum, Designpreis Baden – Württemberg.
